Wilfrid Laurier University's Waterloo campus at 75 University Ave W is the closest university campus to MK Elegance Studio. Laurier–Waterloo Park station on Seagram Drive is one southbound stop from Willis Way — about three minutes on the train — or you can walk 15–20 minutes down King Street into Uptown Waterloo.
Laurier students fit brow threading, lip and chin waxing or a brow tint into the gap between seminars, and save the longer facials and Brazilians for a lighter day. Questions from locals
Is it faster to walk or take the ION from Laurier to MK Elegance Studio?
It's close either way. The ION is one stop — Laurier–Waterloo Park station on Seagram Drive to Willis Way, about three minutes — plus a five-minute walk. Walking takes 15–20 minutes down King Street. If a train is due, ride; if you'd wait more than five minutes, walk.
What can I book in a one-hour gap between Laurier classes?
Brow threading (10 minutes, $15.95), upper lip or chin waxing (10 minutes) or a brow tint (30 minutes, $29.85) all fit, with time to get there and back. Facials, lash lifts and Brazilians need 50–75 minutes, so book those on a lighter day.
Does the student discount include Martin Luther University College students?
The Student Privilege is 10% off* on every visit for anyone with a valid student ID, so Martin Luther University College students qualify just like Laurier students. Show your ID at your appointment; the terms are on the Offers page.
