What is customised facial?
A Customised Facial starts with your skin, not a treatment name. Mital looks at it closely, asks how it has behaved lately and what you use at home, and only then decides what the hour should do — and which products should do it.
Because MK Elegance Studio works with two professional lines, the choice is real: concentrated Diego dalla Palma RVB Skinlab actives (triple hyaluronic acid, peptides, salicylic and azelaic acid, bioflavonoids) for a targeted result, or NaturMed's botanical, pH-respecting formulas for skin that dislikes strong actives. One visit might combine a calming cleanse with a hydrating mask; the next might focus on congestion. It's the option for skin with more than one concern, or for anyone who would rather not choose from a menu.

- Isotretinoin (Accutane): tell us — exfoliation and extractions are left out
- Pregnancy: tell us when you book; retinol-based and some acid products are avoided
Before your appointment
- Arrive makeup-free if you can (we'll cleanse either way)
- Pause retinol and exfoliating acids 2–3 days before
- Bring a list — or photos — of the skincare you use at home
- Don't thread or wax your face the same day; book it after the facial

- Leave skin bare of makeup for the rest of the day if you can
- Skip retinol, acids and scrubs for 48 hours

How is a Customised Facial different from the Diego dalla Palma rituals?
Each DDP ritual follows a set protocol for one goal — Hydra Plump for dehydration, Pure Equilibrio for breakouts, and so on. A Customised Facial doesn't start with a protocol: Mital assesses your skin first, then mixes Diego dalla Palma and NaturMed steps to cover more than one concern in the same 60–75 minutes. If your skin clearly needs one ritual, she'll tell you.
Can a Customised Facial work around rosacea, retinol or pregnancy?
That's one of its main uses. For rosacea-prone skin the facial stays fragrance-free with enzyme-only exfoliation and no extractions. If you use retinol or tretinoin, pause it 2–3 days before and we'll keep exfoliation gentle. In pregnancy, retinol-based and some acid products are left out — tell us when you book so the plan is safe from the start.
Do I need to take the Skin Quiz before a Customised Facial?
No. The quiz recommends one of the five Diego dalla Palma rituals, while the Customised Facial makes that decision in person during the skin assessment. Taking the quiz first can still help — it gets you thinking about your skin type, concerns and sensitivities, which are exactly the questions the consultation covers.
Will I be pressured to buy products after my facial?
No. You'll leave with homecare advice — usually two or three steps that suit your skin, which may include products you already own. If a specific Diego dalla Palma or NaturMed product would help, Mital will name it and explain why; whether you buy anything is entirely up to you.
How much does a Customised Facial cost?

Yes — it's a facial, so it's one of the two services men can book at MK Elegance Studio (the other is threading). It suits men well: the assessment usually focuses on oil, congestion and razor irritation along the beard line, and the products are chosen for that. Don't shave the morning of your appointment.
How do you keep a Customised Facial hygienic?
